what you should do is be very, very careful. he may or may not have done this, but you are walking on dangerous ground. if he DID do it, you could be next, and trust me that isn't something you get over fast. start hanging out with "nicholas" only with another person there, and don't let yourself become intoxicated around him in any way. also, talk to this megan person, don't go into the conversation thinking of her as a slut, think of her as a possible victim, and therefore hurt. ask her about the situation, ask her if she's willing to explain. i hope it all turns out okay, but please. BE CAREFUL.
