Is this considered fraud? Could i go to jail?

i just got my financial aid refund from my school. I dropped my cles and they are sending the remaining financial aid back to the lenders. Even though im not attending school this semester, i am using the refund money to buy a much needed vehicle. It was distributed into my bank account by direct deposit. Is this considered fraud on my part? I am kinda worried about what they could do to me. I don't want to get sued or go to jail. The loan was from Sallie Mae. A federal student loan company.
