Wrong reasons for investing?

If you feel like investing than just invest in what you know and what you believe will work. Trust your guts and avoid what people say. People tell you not to buy the stocks of today but the worst time is the best time to buy to me but be aware of stocks. Once you purchase a stock, it's mostly likely to go down.
