Question about the sitcom Courtship of Eddie's Father?

I was just watching the movie the courtship of eddies father,and there was a nurse that lived across the hall played by Shirley Jones. I thought in the sitcom there was a nurse that lived across the hall and I thought it was Diana Carroll,and when the show went of the air or when she got her own show she left,I believe it was called Julia .. But there was no where on the courtship of Eddie's father website that she was even in the show.Am I mistaking the show she was on before she got her own show/ This is driving me crazy,does anyone know anything about this.
