My clutch ?????????????

i have a 1995 acura integra rs. my clutch feels like im stepping on paper. i can press it down so easily but it doesnt come back up from the floorboard. sometimes when i "pump" it , it becomes stiffer and allows me to shift into gear. but this morning it doesnt. so please tell me what could be wrong. thanks
