I can't help feeling that Shania Twain's song "Forever and For Always" has kind of lost its sparkle?

You see, ever since I first heard it, I wanted it to be my wedding song. But then, she got divorced to the person she meant this song to be about. Now everytime I listen to it I can't help feeling a touch of melancholy whereas before it was just hopeful joy. Because love doesn't last, it seems, even amongst people who seem to be perfect for each other. I don't know if you understand what I mean.
