Need help with a character's power?

I'm doing the writing for a graphic novel and I've invented a character who possesses a slighty confusing superhuman ability. In a nutshell, he can induce paradoxes in reality literally making the highly improbable quite likely such as a prey animal eating it's predator and even make the impossible very possible like making fire "extinguish" water. I need a bit of help thinking of more ways that this power could be applied for different kinds of purposes (as an offensive weapon, as a solid defense and also for just regular practical use).
