STD's and Pregnancy.....?

When my friend was 33 weeks pregnant, her boyfriend came home with a note from the dr. saying he had HSV II. Well this fool never told her doctor and her daughter was born with it. The baby had a 2 week hospital stay getting treated with Acyclovir through an IV. The doctor's said that the baby shouldn't have anymore problems with the .My friend still hasn't told her doctor and insists that she hasn't had any symptoms. I've told her to get treated anyway, but she just won't listen! Any comments or suggestions would be helpful.......
