Trek or Lemond road bikes? Or your reccomendation?

I'm considering a new road bike. I need a women's, and considering a trek after I love the new Trek MTB I jsut bought. Which brand should I get? Something like Trek, Lemond, Cannondale, Specialized. Price range around $1500-$2500. Thank you and God bless!
