Ok Im a baseball player who plays in the outfield. Im good offensively and defensively and my only problem is my arm strength. I have a pretty decent arm, just that I want to get it stronger. Ive searched but like I see many things. There are rotator cuff exercises with light weights for the rotators and idk if thats a method. I know that long toss is a great method but i dont know for how long do I have to long toss to get a stronger arm. Um I also heard that masturbating gives you a better arm but idk if thats a joke. My son bangs his head on the floor when he's angry?

Okay, my 21 month old son is very temperamental, he likes to get his way. He very hyper, and into everything. When he doesn't get his way he is starting to get worse. He will seriously bang his head on the floor, on purpose. How should I deal with this? Yesterday, I actually held his forehead to soften the blow when he hit down, and picked him up to restrain him from hurting himself. I would like to just ignore him, but don't feel like this is an option anymore. Straight to FIT? Or Transfering from a CC?

I have a friend who is very much interested in pursuing a career in Fashion Design. She is a very gifted artist and does amazing sketches of designs she makes in her mind. However she is stuck right now because after looking at some reviews of The Art Institute of New York City and about the AI school chain she decided she is better off studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. But since she lives an hour away she is gonna have to move to be able to attend FIT, cause driving 2 hours a day to get to and from school isn't the best economical plan especially with gas price going up every week. This is the problem, she doesn't know whether to attend a local community college (Rockland Community College) for two years and then transfer to FIT to complete the4 years there. I was looking up at info and since in FIT they are gonna have the students study Liberal Arts during the first two years to get an AAS Degree I told her it could be possible for her to transfer if she studies Fine Arts at the CC for 2 years and then transfer to FIT to enter the Fashion Design program. What do you guys think she should do? I personally don't think she is ready to move on her own, and neither does other people who know her, but because of some family problems she is feeling pressure that shes better off moving. I thought if she went to CC then to FIT she could mature more, become more responsible, and spent less money for college, but I don't wanna give her false information, a little help here guys.

200 situps a day for a week?

its kind of funny how it works, people who have fat on their stomach always tend to try and get 6 pack abs by doing a bunch of situps and crunches, that builds muscle, but does not totally eliminate fat. Cardio is what eliminates that fat. Running. I would recommend, if you are anywhere near a track, jog at a reasonable pace, then when you get to a straight, or every other straight sprint it, that gets your heart rate up, then down, then up again and that will literally remove all that "extra" fat and tighten up that skin. keep up the situps and crunches, I would also recommend flutterkicks, they are very hard to do, but extremely effective, they hit your lower abdomen, while crunches hit your upper abdomen.

There is nothing you can do about what she is already singing, but you can help control what she hears in the future. It's just like kids picking up on cuss words people use around them, they don't know what they mean, but we still don't want them to use them. So I would just tell your sister that you will try to monitor what she listens to from now on and leave it at that, if she has a problem with it, then she needs to find someone new to watch her. I heard that praying Qada is useless, and that one should just make extra nafl salah to cancer out those missed fard prayer, but I also heard that one should not pray any nafl until he/she has made up their Qada salah? I was wondering what bird is very cute and cuddly! This is not my first time with a bird I've had atiels and budgies/parakeets before. I was wondering what kind of bird I should get. I put a deposit down on a CGGC (Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure) but he didn't bond well with me, bit me, and from other posts I've learned that he doesn't like me so I'm going to move on to another bird. I am aware of all responsibility I will have and I'm willing to train my new buddy. I would just like some ideas on what kind of bird I should get. I don't want anything too large (African greys, atoos, macaws, and any large parrot or bird is my idea of large) but nothing too small (finches, canaries, budgies, etc.) Not saying I don't like these birds, I just want a bird in the middle... if that makes sense =) Maybe any other conure that is cuddly would be very helpful except for the Sun Conure. I would very much like to own one but because of sensitive hearing, I can't keep one and my neighbors would definitely get a little upset with the noise! Although, I do know that the GCC is the most quiet of conures. I also looked at a Green Naped Lory recently and she is hilarious! Rolling on her back, hopping around, and all that cute stuff. However, when I played with her, she was pretty nippy. I'm not sure if this is common in her species but I didn't research it yet because I haven't fully decided if I should buy her or not. Also, I am getting my bird from a local breeder who owns a bird store and he hand-feeds all of his babies and only sends them home once they are fully weaned. I know that at a community college that one needs to earn 60 credits before an AA/AS degree is earned. But I read on my schools website(USF) that one only needs either 42 or 45 credits to earn an AA/AS degree. But some students already have over that amount. 12 year old female schnauzer?

I have a 12 year old female schnauzer that is having problems with her hips and rear legs. She will just be walking around, rear legs will start to tremble and she will either just sit down because her legs basically fall out from under her or she will fall over and has difficulty getting upright. It doesn't appear to be a seizure and she doesn't seem to be in any pain. She had a complete blood work up and no problems there. I'm taking her for radiographs on Monday of her hips and she is under the care of a great chiropractor. If anyone has any suggestions or experience with anything similar, please reply. How do I kill mold forming permanently?

My house is very damp and the mold is persistent.I have tried bleach which cures the problem temporarily.I have tried a tea tree concoction which got rid of the damp smell but apart from bleaching and constantly decorating how do you get rid of this mold. Why is my cat pooping in my family room?

I have two new cats who have been home with me for a week. They have two litter boxes which are scooped daily and which they clearly use. And yet, the boy (four months old) has twice pooped in the corner of my family room. The first time, he went behind the TV, and I cleaned it up and blocked the spot. I was isting at a dental clinic and one of the dentists had a patient who spoke basically zero English, so he called me over to translate. I have also been informed that many employers are hiring Spanish speakers over non-Spanish speakers. I don't have anything against taking French, its just that in my opinion knowing Spanish would benefit you more. You know it will help you in America, and if you decide to travel or move somewhere else in the world, it is much more likely that the people will be speaking Spanish and not French, because there are so many Spanish countries in the world. My laptop is not powering up...any advice?

I have a reconditioned Dell Latitude D610 that I got on ebay. After about 6 weeks of use I started having a problem getting it to turn on. I was using it fine one day. I shut it down and about 2 hours later went to turn it on and it wouldn't work. I could hear it start to turn on...and the power indicator light came on... One of the display lights at the top started flashing (it looks like a padlock with an "A" on it), which didn't usually flash when it would come on, flashed about 10 times and then the sounds would stop and I would hear it shut off. The screen would never come on...no logos or back light or anything at all on the screen...no error messages. A friend told me to try removing the battery for 15 minutes or so to reset it. I tried that and it worked...powered back up fine, but the next time I would try to turn it on it wouldn't turn on again and the "A" light would flash again and it wouldn't power up. So then I would have to take the battery off for a second or two every time I would want to turn it on. That lasted about 8 times before it wouldn't turn on at all. I was then told that it is probably a bad battery so I bought a new battery which arrived today. I replaced the battery, charged it up...and it STILL will not power on. Can anyone tell me what could be the problem...or is it going to be a huge ordeal to get it fixed and I am S.O.L. If you need more info, please let me know and I will try to give you more detail... Thanks for your help!!

I see ghost all the time...but are dark shadowy figures different than actually seeing someone's features?

Ever since i moved into my new house, ive seen dark shadowy figures. Ive seen a couple up close, in and outside of my house. Ive heard them, and even felt/saw one at night. However, someone told me that seeing ghost (features ex: hair, eyes, mouth---looks like a real person) and seeing dark figures (silhouettes) are two completely different things. I think you have a decent chance at Tufts, the only thing I worry about is your GPA. Not that a 3.45 is bad by any means, but you'll be up against kids who are getting nearly 4 points. I think your SAT score is pretty good, I'm no expert on SAT because where I'm from the ACT matters more, but I think you have a decent shot with that score and all of your accomplishments. I have a few friends going to Tufts and they all earned great grades, were involved in many academic activities, and they all scored very well on their exams. Again, the only thing you should worry about is your GPA -Is there any way you can boost your GPA, because I think that will help your chances in getting into Tufts.

I've ridden Soarin' at the Walt Disney World Resort. I went and got a Fastp first thing in the morning, so by the time I could go back to the ride, it said it was only about a 10 minute wait. Lucky for me, my little cousin chickened out, so my mom had to stay with her, so me and my dad got to go on twice (we used their Fastpes)! By the time got off the ride the second time around, it was a 90 minute wait and the line came out ALL the way to the entrance! It was crazy!

Old fingers, new calluses?

After a long break from playing guitar, I've reformed some nice calluses on my finger tips. My finger tips actually are clicking on the keyboard like a chick's long nails! The problem is, my fretting is getting sloppier as I have lost considerable sensitivity and I can't feel the strings anymore under those tough calluses. Should I restring with heavier strings, or is this just something to work through and get used to again? I play light to ultra-light strings, always have. I play mostly clic rock and blues and do a lot of whole step bends so I don't want to restring if I will have to learn how to bend notes all over again. I also don't want to lose the ability to make whole step bends if heavier strings won't allow it without breaking.

How do I get my wife's freeloading kids out of my house?

I know most NROTC students join the program their freshmen year and serve the full four years. My question is whether or not a student can join upon transferring from a 2-year school to the 4-year university or does he have to join and serve the full four years. At the moment, I am not in physical shape to join, but am working on being so in the fall of next year. Also, I have made the mistake of many college students and goofed off during my first years at the school acquiring a few withdrawls, retakes, and only one failure, with the rest of my grades consisting of mainly A's with one or two B's and I plan on making up the failure. Most likely, I will still attend the 4-year school either 3 or the full 4 years before graduation, due to my goofing off at the 2-year school, but I have straightened up and am focusing on my schooling acquiring good grades and holding a GPA of 3.1 and rising.
